Ryfields Gym

We run Ryfields Gym with a simple aim, to create a friendly, supportive place where real people feel comfortable training. Our focus is on helping members move better, feel stronger and build confidence without pressure, judgement or ego.

A close-up of a colorful set of kettlebells with smooth, powder-coated finishes in blue, red, and yellow, neatly lined up on a matte, charcoal gray rubber gym floor. In the background, a section of clean mirror reflects understated geometric wall decals and a serene, uncluttered studio. Soft, indirect natural light from a skylight above creates gentle highlights and muted shadows, lending the scene a peaceful, focused quality. The composition uses a shallow depth of field to keep the foreground kettlebells in sharp focus while softly blurring the soothing, minimalist background, reinforcing the friendly and accessible character of the gym in a realistic photographic style.

What to expect as a member

Training at Ryfields Gym is refreshingly calm. It is quieter than most gyms, you can actually get on the kit you want without waiting around, and sessions feel organised rather than chaotic. Most of the time you can pick your own Music too. People come in, train properly, and crack on.

The gym is well equipped, well looked after, and set up to feel safe and easy to use. Coaching is there when you need it, guidance is clear, and no one is left feeling out of place or unsure what they are doing. Whether you are in a class or training on your own, it feels comfortable and straightforward.

Ryfields Gym is also a genuinely social place. Members train together, support each other, and then often do things together outside the gym too. We organise nights out, trips away, and the occasional holiday, and we love encouraging people to take on challenges, whether that is a fitness goal, an event, or just something new to work towards.

It is serious about training, but never serious about itself. People enjoy being here, and that is usually the reason they stay.

Paul & Becky

Paul and Becky are happily married and run Ryfields Gym together with a shared passion for fitness, community, and helping people feel better in themselves.

Paul is a military fitness instructor and has owned Ryfields Gym for almost ten years. Before this, he ran Warrington Bootcamp and has worked in the fitness industry for over sixteen years. During that time, he has helped hundreds of people across Warrington improve their health, fitness, and confidence. Paul still works on the gym floor as a personal trainer, bringing a practical, no nonsense coaching style built on experience, consistency, and doing the basics well.

Becky has managed Ryfields Gym for the past eight years and has overseen significant investment and improvement during that time. A former dance teacher, she delivers all of the group fitness classes and plays a huge role in shaping the welcoming, fun atmosphere the gym is known for, where training is taken seriously but enjoyment is never forgotten.

Together, Paul and Becky also run the Ryfields Village Shop, stocking a range of health and fitness products, and The Bunker Cafe in Orford Park, where they support local community groups whenever they can. They are a strong team, working hard behind the scenes while continuing to pursue their own fitness goals, and taking genuine pride in helping others achieve theirs.
